Accessibility Statement
Last updated: June 2026
1. Our Commitment
Street Poker is committed to making its website and application usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, or screen magnification. We believe studying the game should not depend on how you access the web.
2. Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Street Poker is currently partially conformant: most of the site meets the guidelines, but some highly visual, data-dense parts of the application do not yet fully conform (see Known Limitations below).
3. Measures We Take
Accessibility is part of how we build, not an afterthought:
- Semantic HTML with proper heading structure, landmarks, and labeled controls
- ARIA roles and attributes on interactive components such as tab interfaces and dialogs
- A skip-to-content link and keyboard-operable navigation on our pages
- A dark, high-contrast visual theme with text alternatives on images
- Automated accessibility testing (axe-core) that runs in our continuous-integration pipeline on every change
4. Known Limitations
Some parts of Street Poker are inherently visual and do not yet have complete non-visual alternatives:
- Range matrices and charts — Hand-range heatmaps and interactive charts convey information primarily through color and position. Some chart libraries we rely on have limited screen-reader support.
- The table simulator — The poker-table replay view is primarily a visual experience.
We are working to improve text alternatives and keyboard support in these areas. If one of these limitations blocks you from using a feature, please tell us — we will do our best to provide the information in an accessible format.
5. Compatibility
Street Poker is designed to work with current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge) on desktop and mobile, and with common assistive technologies in those browsers. The application is not designed for browsers more than a few major versions old.
6. Feedback & Contact
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of Street Poker. If you encounter a barrier, have trouble accessing any content, or need information in an alternative format, contact us at support@streetpoker.pro and include the word “Accessibility” in the subject line. We aim to respond within five business days.
